scrawl aboard - the captain calls

scribbles on a holiday

cattle in a folded sheet

fingers slip & up away


origami metal bird

chocs wahey! & toodleooh

ants below are ants below

aether is ceiling's blue


hobble whirrs of turbulence

slipping on a butter breeze

wobble as a hoverfly

feet above the rugged seas


passengers in paper planes

flying through the living room

darting to the carpet then

crashing with a silent boom

cattle prods & castaway

badger dancer cabaret

sniffles in the garden nose

roses glow as hoses spray


gargle on & thatterway

natter ladder saturday

slithering in adder socks

otters hop as osses neigh


seasonally & penguins sleigh

triggering the manta ray

breezes weave a whistling

ribbons imp the maiden day


morris men & branches sway

holographic holiday

tingle spindle ninja spine

shining as the rising hay


pasture grass & potter's clay

scribbles in a squirrel's drey

laughing gas as chaffinches

chatters chin the passageway


taurus turns & snores away

lemon sky's the water's way

gemini's the scatter-rush

blather nuts & dust in may

heather beds the trundle's sleet

polka dotted otter socks

shuffle sun & sugar beet


barble birr as tossers tweet

thunder tongues in jumble's heat

gibber jerks the chickenpox

carrot tops & parakeets


fingers burr a buttered beat

custard skins the syrup suite

circles of the spotted dots

spheres of ears & whirrs of wheat


spinning plates as weasels eat

waving in the mead 'n' greet

jotters of the padded locks

gibber stream & river sweet


natters on a nutter seat

scatters of the pasture's bleat

inking six & ticking clocks

seven seas a phantom fleet


patters dance on cobbled streets

shepherd shims in skidding feet

singing songs of watt the flock

pissing ink & dipping sheet

a fading face browbeat the sound

rat raged a fresh lychee

my bonce floss tossed, kung pao man drowned

rock slide - but cow eye scree


toss face that snort sky harp to ear

& lace my ears unsqueezed

brow breathless chinwag face veneer

crush hour, sky murmur cleave


the gourd tank rocket ( book 2 - 3 )

fish turd my rope secures

steep hill, rye field & torsion sea

brass gong as wife manures


hen weave thin air, glen trouser gears

shite gliding aster nun

heave-hoe essays tooting sod's sprays

& then tree burst big gun

burbles of birds blur flew & flow

seasonal bleatings green the trees

speckles of blossom pose as snow


cotton sock phantoms flock the sky

daffodils droop as bluebells knell

ringing in tandem as the fly

watches a wasp within the dell


badgers & foxes box the hare

frogs referee as weasels cheer

sneezes of petals pox the air

scallion weep as shepherds sheer


winter is sleeping in the loft

dreaming of war as warbles ring

song in the coppice, from the croft

singing of portals, wings & rings
