king size fifty five
quarter past hammock
ten to cabin
the flowering now
futon twenty two
…
photography
brief refix
…
stagnant stags standing
statuesque the stillness
uncracked eggshells
~
then when before
that-a-way’s odd socks
& hot chocolate sachets
~
music is the muse
of your long lost uncle
let the hedgehogs fly
~
super glue the curvature
unarrange the furniture
& lick a puddle’s ripples
~
die each dream
the tangible’s a trickster
tangled in brambles
~
the moon is out tune
all the chords sound cool now
owls agree with we
~
us, the toffee suckers
under twilights treeline
badgering dawn
…
promo tossers
…
& your advert goes here
plastered like a gash
postered like lost cats
stuck up like a bank job
( look forward to ignoring you )
…
rediscovered poem
…
unwritten yesterday’s
rediscovered poem
spidery strokes
stokes no coalite since
unremembered gist
knicker twisted mist
must & dust settled
any disagreements
gardens overgrew
no rosetta stoner
could decode those scrawlings
those mute changelings
we became the same
flame until the candle
had the last laugh
belfries chiming off
but still the bellend sings
kiss my arcadia
…
stuck on the sky
…
black velcro crows
yes, it’s one of those
stuck on the sky
lost in my true
highness of the welkin
fridge magnet alphabet
cotton wool water
rubbing like balloons
look at those weirdos
floating in sweet blueness
we’re upon the meadows
over earthly clover
in medieval hoodies
longer than a raincoat
not the latest smear
steering clear of drizzle
gawping for britannia
mooning with the moon
this is how the clouds grey
but mayfly live forever
gulliver’s ghost
is a bright white pigeon
nature is my second
cousin twice removed

dogs won’t bury you
or chew you in the bandstand
you juicy trumpets

the finest ingredients
…
five pints of thin air
two snark eggs
sugar-free sugar
salt-free salt
invisible flour
fat-free lard
four straws for clutching
half an ounce of nada
nut-free marzipan
ten spoons of mist
gluten-free gluten
three hen’s teeth
& a great imagination

p.s spills the beans …
…
the butler never did it
they railroaded him too
those sneaky widwits
the typewriter botherers
as whodunnit authors
are yet more rotten apples
& just as bent as coppers
or those limbo dancing hunchbacks
who loiter in the gents
toilet in the park
every friday luchtime
…
index left
…
unscattered ashes
catch the last drift home
bones unbroken
all’s unaching
nor a restless tingle
when breakfast calls
take another gulp
swallow like a summer
while the tealights dance
dunce in the mist
nouns becoming verbs
shine like the plough
pow & kerblam
power nap slang man
index left
cleft fist this
voles, vowels & barn owls
scanning your barcode

up before the farmers
farther than we think
~
further with each murmur
murky is the key
~
then with an itchy knee
in between storms
~
headless once more
like pompey on the shore
~
pour more coffee
& sneeze three times
~
tables & swivel chairs
where is the pen?
~
hanging over damocles
somewhere there’s
~
airing cupboard doors
ghost white transit vans
~
closer than before
iron thy underpants
~
anthill billies
dance in bright futures

goats are the g.o.a.t
music is your glue gun
