here is ears as i sit harking

all is stalling - traffic crawling


bees a drumming, worms a singing

trees are standing, pins are falling

churches churning, bells are ringing

poltergeists & tripe is calling


fleas are weaving, weasels scheming

flies are rhyming, nought is scrawling

suns are beams as beetles heaving

dung this dungeon of a morning


bread is crumbing, ants are dancing

wasps are warring, dredgers trawling

tow the flow as so is camping

& ganders with antlers in staggers of dances

a mist in the mizzle, a fist in the riddle

a maze in the haze of the fade-fiddle-diddle

or bitch in a battle, a witch in a cackle

as swan is the addle with bats on the saddle

at then in the morning as woodland is spawning

an octopus crawling with tentacles trawling

& down spins the plover as brown is the clover
