dripping spit on potter's wheels


splashing backs & ducking teal

flapping quacks & fucking zeal

phantom lands & river mist

twisting tongues of tungsten steel


lightning shocks & catherine wheels

viking frocks & saxon heels

frozen roads & woven tricks

winter tracks for snowmobiles


croaky crows & sodden fields

ropy flows & conger eels

easel grease & triple dips

hit the odd with socks appeal

drizzle drops & grey ghosts

sunken in its slumber

curtains draped & burnt toast


tread the earth as clouds float

every town & outpost

stumble on the umber

hum the strum of footnotes


chase the tales of tailcoats

misty gist & misquotes

jumbles in the blunder

mumbles in the utmost


stroll the roll of goal posts

silver suns & gold coasts

winters in the summer

wankers in the banknotes


ease the wheeze of steamboats

weasel cheese & speedboats

wobbles in the wonders

warbles in the sore throats


sing a song of foremost

bubble burst & almost

scan the land for numbers

lizard lickers simper snickers

scissor kickers hit the liquor

crashing lashes whip the vicar

like a florist in a forest

fighting phantoms - misty figures


jingled winters spit in witters

sinking kitchen saucepans simmer

stutters stumble in the jumble

stomachs rumble - what's for dinner
