jungles swing the mumbles  (  a  t r u e  t a l e  )

extras, spectres

zebras stripe the tigers

leaches, screeches

leopards spot the frogs


dangles, scrambles

buzzes, bugs & spiders

horses, courses

water, warts 'n' hogs


blisters, sisters

mizzle mists the yonder

thunder, hungers

simmer sings the ode


carrots, parrots

slither anaconda

forest, forage

stop & lick a toad


balmy, barmy

army ants are marching

nifty, swiftly

fifty hundred legs


tardy, snarly

canopies are barking

tipsy pixies

pygmies hunt for heads


orchid, florid

jungles swing the mumbles

lemurs, creepers

tingles ping the spine


wriggles, jiggles

gibbon on in jumbles

fiddles, scribbles

winging vine to vine

badger's the clatter as scatter's the sen

pigs in the scribble & fiddle's the ink

natter's the nutter as flutter's the wren

fish in the swishes & dishes in sinks

ripple's the river as rumble's the sky

gash in the attic & plastic's the dawn

buggers in bumbles as puddle's the spry

beige in the cages as pages are torn

scrawls of a morning & aether's the noon

flaps as a bastard as tapestries weave

chatter's the wanker & natter's the loon

storms in a tosser as yonder the eve

buzzes in bonnets as sunken's the sun

fuck in the on it as sonnets are scum

i despise their as-snug-as-a-bug-in-a-rug smugness

which can only be twatty

so i'm glad this went to pot

fingers with thumbs in plus extras in fens

looping the yule lords when leaping the glen

over october in inkblots & then

onto eleven etc. - it's ten

otter wins the lottery

hoverfly & cycle clips


drop upon a bell o' blue

retinas & red canoes

levity in leprosy

reverie & retinues


drip upon a celandine

mother 'erb & lemon thyme
