tickles in a tin can


squirming in the dawn's yawn

lurking under rhubarb


rumbles in the head's stead

pastarolly the bees hum


beats upon a bonnet

sonnets in a songbook


hooks & cracks of whiplash

gurning so in slow-mo


shapes of space & tape looped

echos in the hedgerows


early birds are catching

crackles in the distance

calendars & colanders

bumble on & bee the div


babble in the bubble's black

flutters on & buggers off

scarpers on sabbatical

larks & fades away


annually, a sort of door

creaks as finches fledge

hymns emerge from bursting beaks

singing in the hedge


canticles & clattertrap

with the woodland elves

gnomes are mowing astroturf

poems write themselves


photographs are tapestries

rabbits catch the clap

underneath a cloak of oak

shepherds wank & nap


roses glow beside the lane

snakes awake & doze

flutterings of butterfly

pollen up y' nose


gleaming is a silver stream

as the rivers run

breezes frisk the greening trees

underneath the sun


allium & lavender

blooming like the moon

summer is a gravy train

june is a balloon


roving as a floating ghost

in the spindle sky

soaring with the twinkle balls

up until july

puddles pool - a splosh of feet

waving as the thunder drums

mumbles in a shroud of cloud

jumble down this country lane


til the sun erupts & smiles

glow with ghosts & rove for miles

float if roses war with thorns

bee the breeze & sup the rain
