set aside & black holes

otters trot the pasture grass

lententide & tadpoles


hens-a-peck a pheasant head

pencil legs & hedgerows

lemon eggs the feathered stead

swishing swells & echoes


crows-a-toe a castaway

kitchen sinks & curlews

coma tows the saturn daze

hissing links & swirls too


swifts-a-brush a swifter sweep

rivers sing & kettles

reeds of rush held in the beak

quiver spring & nestle
