polio

No Polio

has never been a hatchback

or an explorer

so ignore the above

& scratch that.




But staying on the subject

it may well be a game

depending on how

 the blurs are lined

& the traces of sane

in the brain

...

separate waves



Having agreed

this heliotrope

had at least 10 minds

of its own,

we re-attired

our duffled coats

& trundled our separate waves

home

Wheruponst 

1 conversed

with the souls of the very nearly

 cursed,

ate a nectarine,

ran an ice bath

then buggered off to Bedfordshire

as all energy

dispersed.




They 

on the other foot

ate soot,

& watched some LIVE

abstract mime

shot put.




No one really won.




Apparently it was shit

...

lunchtime


Like Manna 

from yon skies

 beyond

its best before date,

it smells a bit funny

but it still tastes great

- life's a risk.




Or like Angel Hair

in a sandwich

or perchance

a floury bap,

it often vanishes

prior to consumption

but it's a delicious risk is that

- go for it
